Distribution of ratings for this:
Colour: Pale Gold.
Nose: A soft nose with loads of fresh fruit, apples, coconut, wrapped in vanilla and some sweet spice.
Palate: Medium bodied, with a bit of initial bite. More fresh fruit notes and sweet spices with honey, cream and sweet barley notes emerging.
Finish: The medium finish has clean apple notes and a hint of chocolate right at the death.
Comment: A solid whisky with a very appealing nose. A touch out of balance in the mid palate, but it pulls through with pleasant flavours lingering. Not a classic, but an enjoyable fruit-driven dram.
