Can you drink whisky while watching TV?

I enjoy a dram while watching a movie or when working at my desk (which involves my PC and thus often internet). I even enjoy whisky while taking a brisk walk on the beach in winter (I have a hipflask) or when watching a soccer game. I often surf the internet to find out more info on the whisky I am tasting, I don't see why that would diminish my enjoyment.

I can basically drink whisky in most situations. Sometimes quietly sipping while reading a book; while I cook; in front of a film; or just watching mind numbing TV after a long day at work.
