Glenrothes 1995 bottled 2014

Nose : Thick butterscotch , “lotus” biscuits , sweet.  Vanilla and wee hints if zest( lemon) & spices.  Classic stuff. Apples and some sultanas add fruity and sweet notes. Palate: Chocolaty at first then turning spicier , then off again to thick chocolate covered cherries. Caramel and almonds. Finish : goid length  almonds , nuts and chocolate covered nuts with spice.

Botom line:

Very good. Solid. After dinner dram. One of the better younger Glenrothes’s i’ve tasted.well worth a try.
