I picked this bottle up in a transit through Kuala Lumpur. Something cheap and easy to entertain in the hotel room for the next few weeks.

Nose: English mustard, all-spice, fairy floss

Taste: All-spice, tropical fruits, toffee

Finish: Short spicy burst with cashews and orange peel

This is positioned as the budget expression in the Explorer's Club Collection range. Having tried the range, it does represent the series rather faithfully.

For an easy going sipper in the hotel room, it does the job. It was served to non-whisky drinker guests on ice or with soda.

Adding a drop of water kills the already diminutive finish.
