Pedro Ximenez cask aging does an excellent job of adding a level of complexity to the drink and rounding off the classic peaty/smoky islay foundations. The sweetness and aroma of the sherry casks is clearly evident but not overpowering. A very smooth drink overall with no noticeable harsh notes. Highly recommended!
