McCelland's Islay Malt

First drank this over 10 years ago. Can't find it anymore as Supermarket no longer exists. I find this a delightful drink. It is gentle on the palate yet complex. It has nuances of the v.peaty Islays, like Bowmore, but with subtle undertones of heather and honey. The after-tastes on the palate vary with time. Initially most noticeable is the peat, followed by the heather and honey. The last taste left is, however of peat. The latter is not, to use modern parlance, 'as in your face' as in a Bowmore, Laphroig types.
