Springbank 10 Year Old 100 Proof

This is a seriously complicated whisky. It hit me with so much at once that it took a second to get my bearings. So I relaxed and tried to go with it and thats when the genius of this malt hit me. It's not so much a refined symphony as it is a freeform jam. That's not to say that all the elements aren't in complete and miraculous balance! this whisky reminds me of Ornette Coleman and Prime Time, many different voices all working together in harmolodic synchronicity, becoming greater than the sum of their parts. Pure class!
