Tomatin 1990 18 Year Old Cask #7738

This single cask, bourbon hogshead 7738, yielded only 160 bottles on 7th August 2008.

I get vanilla, nuts, orange zest and licquorice on the nose, with quite a prickly.

The nose continues into the mouth and is very spicy.

The finish is feisty, but short. Very short, in fact.

Tomatin gets it's bourbon casks from several US-producers, such as Buffalo Trace, Maker's Mark and Jack Daniel's. Only 3 single cask per year are bottled.
