Light straw in colour.
Vanilla, hay, melon and banana notes on the nose. Lovely
Palate - Slightly harsh and seems younger than its years but quite a strong woody taste (oak) gives a clue that it had some ageing.
Quite drying in the mouth with a fairly short finish.
I like Auchentoshan but might have to revisit this in a while to see if the oxidation helps. It's nice and better than the Three wood but not as good as the standard 12yr old IMHO.
