Nose: Light, floral, and on honey. There is a distinct and slightly yeasty, rather malty quality to it. Pressed dried and waxy flower petals. Eventually a few red berries come out. Vanilla, frosting, light sugar dusting, marshmallow, rich cream strengthen with oxygen. Slight touch of citric fruit here. Very pleasant. (with water) Much grainier and less refined baked goods, though still a fair bit of the lemon, frosting, and vanilla.
Palate: A little sharp and zesty with full on lemon spritzer. Honey and vanilla, clean sugar. Some wood, but it's easy and pleasant. (with water) Less sharp, honey, malty, grain, vanilla, wood, and bitter pastries.
Finish: More of the same. It's very pleasant and easy. A bit simple. The zest could rub some people the wrong way, but I enjoyed it and thought that it was a decent showing.
