Balcones 5th Anniversary Bourbon Cask 2
Nose: You can tell this is a pokey bottle at 67.5% and yet the alcohol is not overpowering. You get rye, vanilla, light leather, honey, floral. Quite light and very sweet.
Palate: Smooth. Boom! Spicy, fruity, vanilla and honey. This is surprisingly good.
Finish: Tingling spice which feels slightly drying and mouth-watering and sweet at the same time. A pleasant. A smidge shy of medium length finish.
