I picked up a 2015-04 and 2015-05 in Calgary in December and early January, and the labels didn't have the names.
I have to say the 2015-05 was quite good...

I purchased my 2015-05 without the name in Manitoba.Same proof and I agree with @Nozinan it is very good. One dram left but just till this evening!

@Frederico,
The bottles of batch 2015-01 in my possession (my favourite of all the Booker's I have tried) do not have the 'series' style label with title and illustration. I am certain that it is the same juice as "Big Man Small Batch" and it is absolutely delicious bourbon.

@paddockjudge Are you in Canada too? I guess they use the old no name/picture label for export.

@Jonesz I would suggest to you that a bad batch of Booker's is like a bad A'Bunadh....rare and usually better than many others in the same class.
GO forth and find thee a Booker's no matter what batch it is you'll likely be happy.

@newreverie An excellent specimen, but I would give the edge to the 2015-01

I came across a Booker's small batch 2015-05 which label does not have the batch name "Maw Maw's" . I understand that all small batch releases are named since 2015-01. This no name/no picture label also says age 6 years 7 months and 128 proof, which are same as the Maw Maw's release.
I also saw another Booker's 2016-01E release also without name/picture. This one is 6 years and 1 month old with 127.7 proof, different from the Bluegrass release.
I'm in Canada. Does Booker's release different batches outside US or they are the same batches but just different use of labels?
