Distribution of ratings for this:
Nose: Big winey notes and tannins. Sweet. Fruity as in marmalade: Think apricot. Smoke And peat that go well with the sweeter notes.
Palate: Mega smoke with lots of sweetness and something I can’t quite pinpoint. The we’re off to Earthy peat. Pepper. Lots of sugary stuff and the port is well felt. Not over tannin-y but the wine casks did their magic.
Finish : Sweet peat , leather , wine and smoke.

Did you have a chance to compare that to the Laphroaig Cairdeas 2013 port wood? Is it a good deal for $70? In other words - should I buy one or two???
