Considering how Bruichladdich ludicrously chose to double the price of their Black Art 4 compared to the three previous expressions, this is something along the lines of a 'good offer'. However, even at that price, I'm not sure I'd get it. When I first got into whisky, I really got into the mystery of the Black Art 3, and wound up getting 2 bottles (the second after tasting the first), but I'm not sure that I would today.
I've had a sample of Black Art 4, and as far as I remember, it was quite a nice and balanced expressing pretty much without any of the oaky bitterness you can get with these things.
Beware though: If you do decide to get one, I've found that the Black Arts are very sensitive to oxygen. They don't go bad in any way, but I found that the juicy berry notes that was part of the magic of the first one all but disappeared pretty much as soon as it allowed to breathe in the bottle. My advice is a preserver of some sort.

It's a really good dram. No more, no less. Whether it's worth the price is up to you. That is a relatively good price for that particular bottle, though.

Bruichladdich 1990 Black Art 23yo. 49.2% is coming to LCBO! $250.00 CDN ish a bottle. There are only 150 Bottles available. Should this one be one to grab before it's sold out?
