Isle of Jura Diurachs Own

This expression has spent 14 years in American white oak before spending a final two years in ex-Amoroso Oloroso sherry casks.

Nose: Raisins, smoke, caramac bars and honey.

Palate: smoke, dark chocolate, orange, honey, vanilla.

Finish is medium with lingering bitter chocolate and fading smoke

It is a nice jura but as with other expressions you feel that if bottled at 46% it would be really good. At 40% it is pleasant but nothing special.
