Macallan Speymalt Gordon Machpail bottled 2013

I have mixed feelings about this bottle. Maybe when it's had a chance to age it might change. It is very pale, lighter than champagne and very sparkly in the glass. The nose is oak, rubber and quite earthy. It is fairly musty. The palate delivers honey, oak with spicy tang and a pepper bite. Pleasant. The finish is medium long and the honey really lasts. Sweet and much better than it smells.
