Rich amber with a very red tinge. First nosing is sherry wood with maybe a hint of ocean like a traditional Pulteney. Sherry comes through strongly on the palate, but maintains the salty tang of of sea air. For 60% alcohol comes of mild (but not necessarily smooth). Long finish.
