Wonderfully bright and fruity on the nose, while holding some rye spiciness as well. On the palate, it's a bit syrupy and sweet (a little too sweet), with fruity rye and some warm spice and grassiness. A short finish with some almond, nutmeg, pineapple and caramel. A fair bit of corn influence throughout, as well. Not bad to sip, but not fantastic either.
This isn't the tastiest example, but does represent much of the Canadian style of a lighter whisky with a bite of rye and spice throughout.
