Tamdhu

Tonight's theme is "open and closed". Goal was closed distilleries, but moderately widened to contribute some less expensive tastes from temporary shutdowns.

To start Tamdhu, slightest of the interruptions. This bottling is from around 2011, NAS.

Pretty harsh nose. Hot and paint remover like. Smoothing out over time to being just hot with a malty sweetness.

First taste if much lighter than expected from the nose. Malty and sweet as expected. Little touch of sour lemon flavour to finish.

Light, soft, but a bit hot.
