I would definitely like to try three of those four, and will probably buy the Lot 40 CS on spec IF I can get it.
A 35YO CS wisers sounds REALLY good, and it may just push me to spend more than I've ever spent before on a bottle....unless I can collect my gift cards...

@Nozinan Yes, that CS 35yo Wiser's should be pretty interesting. The version of it that they served at the Victoria Whisky Festival was 64.4%. Of course whatever they release here may be different, but likely in the same neighborhood.
@Victor It looks like they were part of a Master Class at the Victoria Whisky Festival.

@Mancub, I tried a 30 YO 68.3% at the distillery, incredible! The CS 35 YO will be a treat.
The 2018 price for the new iteration of W35 will likely be a bit steeper. Using the rule of $1.45 per degree of alcohol for proof increase, as told to me by John Hall a couple of years ago: 14.4 x $1.45 = $21 increase over the $165 W35 current price tag. I estimate the 2018 Cask Strength W35 to be priced in the $185 to $190 range, all other things being equal.

I’d better start saving. Here’s hoping that some of those Wiser’s 35 will be allocated to either a lottery or available online. The others look pretty interesting too.

@OdysseusUnbound, just grow a top-knot and hang out on King Street...that's the target market.

@paddockjudge Or I could visit and play a guessing game “Homeless or High Fashion?” while I wait. In related news, an acquaintance has offered to Fed Ex me some Wiser’s 35 Year Old olive oil from BC but at $165 for the bottle plus $25 in shipping, and no guarantee I’ll get it safely...I’m pretty hesitant.

@OdysseusUnbound, I've rec'd salad dressing from Alberta, probably 30 - 40 bottles in the past 5 years. I've had one broken and 3 leakers...not bad. Good packaging is the key to successful shipping.

That's an interesting line-up, although I thought perhaps they would shake up the line-up a bit by maybe offering something from left field (I'm not sure of what per se).
What do you think about the lot 40 being dropped to 11years? I don't think it will matter much in the grand scheme of things. Hopefully they will be able to bump up quantity offered.
Wisers 35 at that high a proof would be kind of unheard of for a widespread Canadian whisky release.
I like the historical tie-ins for the gooderham and worts releases.

I haven't seen a discussion here yet on the 2018 release of the NBC. It was posted on Reddit, I'll re-post here. (I did not gather this information myself, just re-posting for discussion).
Northern border collection 2018:
21 year old 3 Oak Pike Creek
11 Orphans (11 grains) Gooderham and Worts
35 Year Cask Strength Wiser's
11 Year Cask Strength Lot 40
The Pike Creek 3 Oak is finished in Hungarian, American and French Oak.
As for the 11 Grains in the G&W, it is made up of the following - rye, malted rye, barley, malted barley, corn, wheat, presetto (sp?) rye, and some column/pot still options of each to bring it to 11 types.
