I wish very hearty thanks to all of you for your birthday wishes to me this year! I hope to sit down over drams with all of you one day. I just managed to spend a 5 day birthday trip in Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico without ever going online, and so was unaware that the birthday thread had been renewed this year. Sorry for the delay getting back to you all.
I now toast each of you with two of my favourite drams: Ardbeg Supernova 2010 and the very last 25 ml of my bottle of Willett Family Estate 12 yo "Calypso" bourbon. Slainte! Cheers! and Saude! (for those going to the Rio de Janeiro World Cup games and the Rio Olympics)
Those of you in and near Toronto going to the 2014 Spirit of Toronto, I'll see you Saturday night...

@Victor
It is also a testament to how you have touched so many people and truly, what more could a person ask for out of life?
Yes - I will be a first-timer at the event, very much looking forward to it

@JayRain, @Frost, thank you both very much for your kind words. Contributing to this online club is mostly an act of love and enthusiasm. It is always very rewarding to have confirmation that others are receiving benefit from one's efforts. Of course I am also very happy to benefit from the experiences of others.
@JayRain, I am sorry that we did not identify one another at Spirit of Toronto. There were quite a few Connosrs there.
@Frost, what I most enjoy about Connosr is the exchange of ideas,...the give and take of information and comaraderie. The love of whisky is a wonderful hobby to share with others.

@Victor your comments & reviews have me eyeing off American whiskey these days. I need something to compliment the Scottish/Japanese/Taiwanese/Australian single malt in my collection. In particular the cask strength stuff.
