Was not such a good expression for such a storied distillery. Was really disappointed with this one.

I think you misunderstood. I tried this at a tasting entitled The last great malts of Scotland. I was definitely not impressed. If this is what passes for Great, I am thankful for OTHER world whiskies...

I must agree. I picked up this bottle a few weeks back, was impressed by the status it had received previously and the bottle is gorgeous, but the result is just average to me. I'll find the time to review this in detail soon.
