@Victor, a lot has changed. I’m not inclined to chase bourbon the way I have in the past, but I’m glad I did because there are a few good bottles in my bunker as a result of my persistence.

A variety of Canadian whisky has exploded upon the local whisky scene. The cries of Canadian Whisky enthusiasts have been heard, and in some cases answered. Higher proofs, exotic mashbills, experimental finishes, and assorted aging climates have been used to roll out a new wave of whiskies for thirsty Canadians. Some of these offerings are trickling south to our American neighbours, but that is a topic for another discussion.

@paddockjudge I have enough whisky to drink for 30 years, and your collection is two or three times as big as mine is. Why would you or I ever need to chase anything?

Yes, I know the answer. There is a difference between 'need' and 'want'.
