I'm very much looking forward to trying A'Bunadh batch 49 but not today. I generally don't drink on my birthday, plus as you all know it's been a pretty bad week here in Toronto.

@Robert99 I actually had some Montreal smoked meat this week that I picked up at the Centre Street deli, and my aunt was in Montreal last week and brought back bagels (the Montreal bagels made here are great...until you have one from Montreal) and lox from the Victoria fish market.

I did sort of get a whisky - related gift today. As you can see my order from Saffire Blue arrived today and, having the day of work to accompany my daughter on her field trip, I had a chance to open all of the bottles. I'm looking forward to being able to make lots of samples... I even used one of my prior remaining bottles today to make a sample of OGD 114 for the nurse practitioner who loved the Stagg Jr so much it sounded like, well, over the phone I got the impression she liked it.

Anyway, thanks again, and hope to dram with you all sooner or later, preferably sooner!
