The bottle of Bladnoch 12 Year Old and the bottle of Aberlour 12 Year Non-Chillfiltered.

@sengjc How did the Bladnoch 12 develop from start to finish. Mine has been open 10 months, ungassed, and I've found the vegetal aspects slowly receding.

Friday night saw the end of my bottle of BenRiach Heredotus Fumosus 12 yo. I've loved both BenRiach bottles that I have had (the Curiositas 10 yo being the other). This one will make it back into my cabinet if it is re-stocked in my neck of the woods.

Bruichladdich Black Art was absolutely stunning. Octomore has some close competition. (:

@Nozinan
Seems to be just as funky as it was the day it was opened. Mind you, the bottle didn't last 10 months so I can't really provide much meaningful feedback as to whether breathing time would make it lose its feral character.
I kind of enjoy the funkiness a bit though.

@Nozinan
Having said that, I did squirrel away a 250ml sample of the Bladnoch - will let it sit for a while and revisit in a year or two to see if the funkiness subsides.

Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Yr. Enjoyed it consistently but was surprised that the rum cask finish was not more prominent.

Just finished my first--and only--bottle of Bulleit 10 YO bourbon, AT 45.6% ABV (91.2 proof), an excellent sipping bourbon, among the nicest I've tried. Sweet, with enough alcohol kick but not overwhelming. I'll definitely buy this again (if I can find it!).

Finished my Elmer T Lee after 1 year, pretty good stuff, have no idea how I will ever replace it living in Ontario. Oh well, just move on and get something else I guess.

trying to clear out some space.... so Now I'm finally draining the last of my Michter's Toasted Barrel. Looks like my Maker's 46 is next to go. At least that one is replaceable.

@Newkophile That is good to hear. The first couple ounces were not that good but it finally seems to have turned for the better. I have opened mine like 2 months ago.

@Spitfire love the car has it got the wire wheels and vinyl hood can not see clearly from the picture.

Yesterday, my bottle of Benromach 10 year New Label. A great whisky for the price, I understand why Ralfy select it for His Whisky of 2014. I love this "old-fashioned" style, Speyside slightly smoky...

@Pete1969 A bit off topic...the '78 Spitfire is a work in progress. Mostly OEM--no wire wheels (yet), and yes, it does have just the vinyl soft top. A ton of fun to drive--it's like a go-cart for grown-ups! In my garage right now, though, waiting for me to rebuild the engine and swap in a new transmission.
Been spending money on whisky that should probably be going towards car parts...

Gave my uncle the last of the Amrut single (bourbon) cask I opened last summer. Sad to see it go but he wanted something unpeated and it was among the best I could offer.... luckily I have a couple in the vault. This one was definitely one of the 10 in my top 5!

Finished the last of my Balvenie 14 Caribbean cask. I enjoyed this more last year than this year, I doubt I will replace it.

@Astroke. More or less, and then about 10-15 more in my top 10...

Just finished my Balvenie 15 Sherry Cask single barrel, So happy I have a back up. Too expensive but I will replace it without a thought. My favorite Sherry Bomb and it's not close.

Found a bottle of Crown Royal Cask 16 taking up much needed space in the bar with one dram left and decided to put it out of it's misery. Unfortunately I had just finished a dram of Noah's Mill so it went down like a shooter. That said it was tasty.

The last of the Laphroaig 18 Year Old.
