I'm currently in Lac du Bonnet , Manitoba , Canada . In Manitoba if you don't like the weather you don't have to wait long for it to change . You have the heat on in the night and run the air conditioner during the day, go figure . Bitter cold winters for long periods of time , and floods every spring . Oh well that's what you get for living on a flood plain.

A small community just north of Sacramento Ca. Half an hour away from the Sierra Nevada Mountains and a 1.5 hours away from the Pacific Ocean...with perfect seasons all year.

@HarkinsBG ...stay safe; I'm in London, Ontario, Canada at the almost exact halfway point between downtowns Toronto and Detroit. I'm just having a couple of drams of Talisker (DE & 57 degrees North) while watching the Canadian Men's Curling Championship (the Tim Horton's Brier) going on in this rainy city this week. Can't get much more Scotish than that!! :)

Currently in Chevy Chase, Maryland which, by the way, was not named for the actor. Just on the border of Washington DC.

I hail from Calgary, Alberta. Not so nice this time of year, but some warmer weather on route. Good to see there is a good Canadian population amongst us.

I am in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We are currently preparing for a good old Manitoba blizzard! They are calling for about 10cm of snow, with winds gusting 60 to 80 km/hr. A great night for AJ and I to enjoy a Glenmorangie tasting. Looking forward to sipping LaSanta and Quinta Ruben while staying inside cozy and warm!

From the great state of Georgia, USA. Atlanta, specifically. Home of some crazy ass liquor laws, hotter than hell summers and winters that... well really the winters aren't so bad. In fact winters are great. You can sit out on the deck in a long sleeve shirt, grill a steak and sip a single malt. It really doesn't get much better.

@evarees - Welcome! It's great to have other members who are in the Seattle area.

@Wodha, @evarees, @bwmccoy, sorry, the trip is a little long for me, otherwise I'd drop by.

@Wodha @bwmccoy I'm ecstatic to find local whisky lovers. That's actually the main impetus for my joining the site. I'm certain there's folks meeting up around these parts, but I have no idea how to get involved.
