Just poured the last dram of the Bruichladdich Peat. What a lovely winter warmer, sweet & peaty. Will I replace it? I want to, but on the other hand I'd like to give the Port Charlotte 10 year old a chance first.

Yamazaki 18 bit the dust tonight. The last pour was added to my un-peated "Final Drops" decanter. I will replace this one. Expensive, but thoroughly enjoyed. And isn't that what it's all about?

We finished off the Isle of Jura 10 last night. Two healthy drams and the bottle was gone. We may get another bottle in the future.

Alberta Springs 10. A most delicious canadian rye that was on its last leg since last summer, so it was time to polish it off ! I might just have to take a trip to New Brunswick again to pick up some more bottles !

WT 101 Rye. An OK 'drop' but not when the temp. gets up close to 40* C - I'll be happy when the temp. gets back to a reasonable 25* C (and lower) and oh boy, have I got some fantastic bottles unopened and calling to me!

Finished a Glenlivet 12 yo a few weeks ago and a Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon this past weekend. Probably will not purchase a Glenlivet 12 again...too many other scotches to try. I'll replace it with a Laddie 10. I will be replacing the Four Roses SB with another Four Roses SB. It is delicious and a nice bourbon to offer guests who are just getting into bourbons.

@maltygirl The Glenlivet 12 rarely gets replaced, it's a stepping stone :)

I really need to focus on drinking the bottles I am over and want gone, but all I want to drink is the new, exciting bottles. It's a conundrum I tell you. I guess I could feed the old bottles to guests but typically I'd rather show them the exciting drams too.

I have still only finished 2 bottles of single malt (gone through a few bottles of bourbon and blended scotch, mostly before my single malt collecting started) as I tend to add to the collection fast enough to prevent bottles from running out - and those two bottles are the OP's Talisker 10 and the first replier's Ardbeg 10.

Next will be the Cragganmore 12 though, there's only a few ounces left in there. It will be a sad day, as that bottle was my very first single malt purchase 2.5 years ago, and has remained enjoyable the entire time.

@lostboyscout agree that Glenlivet 12 is rarely repeated once you start exploring the rest of their line, especially.

Just polished off the final drams of Johnnie Walker Blue and Oban 18 during the Super Bowl. This years Blue feels like a return of their prominence as the bottle I had last year seemed to have lost its sofisticstion (yes I know you purists will point out its a blend). The Oban 18 has always been a staple in my closet, but may not get replaced just for the sake of experimentation of new spirits. The Blue usually gets replaced annually at Duty Free but may be sacrificed this year if a Balvenie Tun 1401 becomes available.

I finished off a bottle of Isle of Jura 21yo last night. My girlfriend bought it for me in late 2011 as a birthday present. It was the first bottle of whiskey she ever bought me. It always went down smooth and I'll try to get another bottle at a reasonable price.

I have had a tidy up in the last week or so. Polished off the last dregs of the following: Laphroiag Quarter Cask, Glenfiddich 15 years old Solera and Amrut Fusion.

The next couple perilously close to extinction are the Aucentoshan Valinch (about 2 drams left) and the GlenDronnach 12 years Original (perhaps 3 drams). I expect a quiet funeral will be held for each in the coming few days.

Finished off a bottle of Kilchoman Winter 2010 tonight. The last dram is sitting in my glass as I type this. This was the first bottle I bought at a Loch & K(e)y event and it just may be my favorite Islay. I have two more stored away for the future at the back of my whisk(e)y shelf.

Glenfiddich Malt Master's Edition was emptied last night. I drank it relatively fast since I opened it. It was a whisky that I rarely had only one glass of, the finish was so amazing I just wanted to keep refilling with the same, rather than moving on to the next.
